▪ Design and implement research activities fruit crops

▪ Development of new fruit varieties

▪ Develop new technologies regarding propagation of fruit crops

▪ Develop new technologies on cultural management of fruit crops

▪ Develop new technologies regarding urban agriculture and agroforestry

▪ Collection, evolution and gonsurvation of fruit germplasm

▪ Engage in technology transfer activities

▪ Evaluation of different germplasm to release as variety

▪ Analysis data and present reports in review workshop and seminar

▪ Visit farmer’s field problem and give solution

▪ Training the farmers, Agril. Extension officers, BADC/NGO’s personnel

▪ Plan the budget/activities of GOB/International funding project

▪ Carryout some administrative tasks as assigned by authority

▪ Supervision on MS/PhD student of different Agricultural Universities

▪ Supervision of staff and farm labourers

▪ Procurement of equipment/research commodity
